Brian Washburn, AIA
Principal
"Why?" and "Why not?" are Brian's two favorite questions. It was "why not" that led Brian into the world of Architecture. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Brian discovered his love for the discipline while helping a friend with a remodel. He was asking "why" so often that when the thought of becoming an architect arose, he asked "why not". He quickly found that the design process marries his various interests in science, philosophy, art and technology with his passion for helping people in his community and knew he found his calling.
Brian is a licensed Architect in the State of California with over 12 years experience in Architecture and Design. He has a B.A. in Economics from Yale University and a Masters of Architecture from the College of Environmental Design at U.C. Berkeley. Aside from spending time with his family, Brian enjoys rowing on the Petaluma River and taking his dog, Noell, for walks.
